3) fix it to use /bin/sh instead of bash? which is availible anyway anytime? (does this
work?)

If you want to use 2) you can use my shebangfix tool found in
all-packages.nix
PATH=.../bin shebangfix thescript 
.../bin is the path containing bash

just add it to buildinputs..
