[Nix-dev] grub 2 and long delays when booting

Hi list,

when trying to boot my system I have to wait maybe a minute until
I can see the kernel message and NixOS booting.

adding

set debug=disk

to the boot item reveals that grub is trying to read from hd0(0,6),
however the system is located on /dev/sda6.. ?

I used reiserfs for that partition containing both /boot and my system.

I'll switch back to grub 1 for now. Any ideas what's causing this delay?

Did you encounter it as well?
