Yes, on both machines I get the following answer:

   $ cat /proc/cmdline | sed -es'/^.*BOOT_IMAGE=\([^ ]*\).*$/\1/g'
   /nix/store/pn6k1ahnqq2lf6dfydr7bnvhbw1x2yk4-linux-2.6.32.2/vmlinuz

I'll try to import both guest machines on the same physical host just
to be sure that the phenomenon does not depend on the host.
