[Nix-dev] [PATCH 0/2] NUM_CORES nixpkgs patch

This patch series is the first top-git export of 
of my nixpkgs top-git NUM_CORES topic.

The first patch refactores the setup.sh.

The second patch adds the -j and -l flags to make.
Note the comments telling you how to make a package opt-out from this.

Does the buildfarm (or another tool) depend on the echo lines echoing make flags which I
replaced by a more generic cmd command echoing the full command?

Of course I invite you to take part. I pushed the top-git branches to the
gitorious account. I put a HOWTO on the wiki recently telling you how to use
top-git.

Patching nixpkgs is not enough. I'll post my NixOS and Nix patch in some
minutes.

What about the time line? Do you think I can push these changes to
stdenv-updates in a week or such after having tested the packages I use
which includes kernel build, ghc and packages, ruby libs and some system
services such as PHP, OpenVPN, Apache, .. ?
