[Nix-dev] Desktop environments (KDE, XFCE) and ~/.nix-profile/share/applications

My bad -- I must have not tried running kbuildsycoca4 until *after* I
tried symlinking .local/share/applications ->
.nix-profile/share/applications. After removing the symlink and
rebuilding the cache, everything is still there

XDG_DATA_DIRS:
/home/michel/.nix-profile/share:/nix/var/nix/profiles/default/share:/var/run/current-system/sw/share

I've been away from KDE for too long!
