[Nix-dev] Various NetworkManager (and KDE) problems

1. Could you link to your configuration.nix please? Maybe you have some 
additional services enabled, like dbus pointed above.

2. Problem is not only with applet. As I mentioned, `okular` fails to 
open documents, and this hack helps.
