32-bit packages are (probably most easily) accessible through the 
pkgsi686Linux attrset, like

nix-env -iA pkgsi686Linux.jre

However, having both in $PATH *at once* isn't very useful, as the "java" 
executable name is the same by default. So it depend on how exactly you 
want to use this.
