[Nix-dev] error: querying path in database: database disk image is malformed

It worked!
I booted from the installation cd.
I had to remove all files from /nix/var/nix/db (not only db.sqlite)
Here is what I did:

swapon /dev/disk/by-label/swap
mount /dev/disk/by-label/nixos /mnt
cd /mnt/nix/var/nix/db
mkdir backup
mv * backup
nixos-install
